Courtney Cronk, MA, NTP

Courtney graduated from Bastyr University with a Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavioral Science/Counseling in 2002.  After staying home to raise her children for several years, Courtney attended the Nutritional Therapy Association’s intensive certification program in 2012/2013 to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.  Blending her expertise in human behavior and helping skills with her knowledge and passion for holistic nutrition has made her very effective working with and thoughtfully guiding her clients towards more vibrant health.

Courtney leads group classes in weight loss, sugar detoxing (as seen recently on KGW News Channel 8, AM Northwest, KATU News Channel 2, and KGW’s “Live @ 7”), and works with clients one-on-one to help them discover and address the underlying causes of chronic health concerns with real food and lifestyle changes.  Her areas of expertise include digestion issues, blood sugar imbalances, adrenal fatigue, emotional eating, underlying causes of weight problems, sugar addiction, Paleo and other specialty diets.  Courtney includes her personal experience with autoimmune disease, heavy metal toxicity, leaky gut, and small intestine bacteria overgrowth (SIBO) to inform her approach coaching her clients and wider audience on her blog,  http://www.nourishportland.com/blog.
