My Story:
I am a doctor today because I have been a patient. For many years I struggled with my health, only to find myself walking away with many missed diagnoses or no help at all. Many times I felt like I had not been listened to, which compounded my frustration and feeling of hopelessness. It was a breath of fresh air when I was introduced to naturopathic medicine and doctors who dedicated their time and expertise to helping me. That is when I realized that I wanted to become a naturopath as well, so that I could assist others who need help and understanding as I did.
